HomeMy WebLinkAbout1991-235 CCR1 1 Member Celia Scott introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 91 235 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK PERFORMED ON WEST RIVER ROAD, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1988 -18, CONTRACT 1989 -I WHEREAS, pursuant to written contract signed with the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, Thomas Sons Construction, Inc. has satisfactorily completed the following improvements in accordance with said contract: RECONSTRUCTION OF WEST RIVER ROAD IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1988 -18, CONTRACT 1989 -I NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that: 1. The value of work actually performed is 4,452.17 more than the original contract plus approved change orders, due to an underestimation of quantities. 3. It is hereby directed that final payment be made on said contract, taking the Contractor's receipt in full. The total amount to be paid to the Contractor for said improvements under said contract shall be 1,098,786.15.
