HomeMy WebLinkAbout1991-097 CCR Member Celia Scott introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 91 -97 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF TEN (10) MOBILE RADIOS AND SIXTEEN (16) PAGERS WHEREAS, an appropriation was approved in the 1991 budget for the purchase of ten (10) mobile radios and sixteen (16) pagers; and WHEREAS, bids were taken by the State of Minnesota Fire Consortium and awarded under Contract #M2456; and WHEREAS, the bid was awarded to Motorola, Inc. WHEREAS, $21,100 was originally appropriated for the purchase of the ten (10) mobile radios and sixteen (16) pagers; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the purchase of ten (10) mobile radios at a total cost of $13,160 and sixteen (16) pagers at a total cost of $7,776 from Motorola, Inc. is hereby approved. March 25, 1991 Date Todd Paulson, Mayor ATTEST: Deputy Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Jerry Pedlar and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Todd Paulson, Celia Scott, Jerry Pedlar, Dave Rosene, and Philip Cohen; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
