HomeMy WebLinkAbout1991-133 CCR Member Celia Scott introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 91 -133 RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING PROJECT AND ACCEPTING PROPOSAL FOR GEOTECHNICAL SERVICES FOR TRAIL IMPROVEMENT, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1991 -07 WHEREAS, the City Engineer has reported to the City Council that there exist portions of the City's trail system which require repair; and WHEREAS, the required repairs are beyond the scope of usual maintenance performed by City forces; and WHEREAS, the reconstruction of these trail segments requires geotechnical services; and WHEREAS, the City Engineer has obtained a proposal from STS Consultants, Ltd. to provide geotechnical services in conjunction with the proposed improvements, and make recommendations ,,egarding said improvements, at a cost not -to- exceed 2,700.00. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that: 1. Improvement Project No. 1991 -07, Trail Improvements, is hereby established. 2. The proposal submitted by STS Consultants, Ltd. to provide geotechnical services relating to Improvement Project No. 1991 -07 at a cost not -to- exceed 2,700.00 is hereby accepted and approved. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract with said firm on the basis of said proposal. 3. All costs relating to this project shall be charged to the MSA Fund No. 2611. May 13, 1991 Date Todd Paulson, Mayor ATTEST: Deputy Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Jerry Pedlar and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Todd Paulson, Celia Scott, Jerry Pedlar, Dave Rosene, and Philip Cohen; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
