RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SICK LEAVE AND VACATION BENEFITS FOR A NEW POLICE OFFICER WHEREAS, the city council determines it is appropriate to authorize certain sick leave and vacation benefits for a new police officer, Francis Roth, based on the facts of his experience as a police officer. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the city manager is hereby authorized to including the following benefits in the conditions of appointment for new police officer, Francis Roth: 1. a 96 hour block of sick leave which can be used during the first year of employment, but which must be earned before additional hours accumulate; and 2. vacation accrual to begin with three week vacation per year, giving credit for experience. February 11, 1991 Date Todd Paulson Mayor PEST: x Deputy Clerk introduced the following 91 -48 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Jerry Pedlar and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Todd Paulson, Jerry Pedlar, Dave Rosene, and Philip Cohen and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
