RESOLUTION NO. 91 -53
introduced the following
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING VACATION AND SICK LEAVE BENEFITS
FOR CERTAIN EARLE BROWN HERITAGE CENTER EMPLOYEES
WHEREAS, in January 1991, the Brooklyn Center Economic
Development Authority (EDA) assumed management responsibilities of
the Earle Brown Heritage Center (EBHC); and
WHEREAS, the City Council determines it is appropriate to
allow the full -time employees of EBHC to assume their existing
banks of vacation and sick leave benefits that had been accrued
with Earle Brown Farm Management.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Brooklyn Center that the City Manager is hereby authorized
to grant banks of vacation leave and sick leave benefits as follows
for these EBHC employees, effective the date of their employment
with the Brooklyn Center EDA:

Judith Bergeland
VACATION LEAVE

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that these employees will accrue
additional vacation and sick leave benefits pursuant to Chapter 17
of the city ordinances based on their dates of employment with the
Brooklyn Center EDA.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member Jerry Pedlar and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Todd Paulson Jerry Pedlar,, Dave Rosene, and Philip Cohen;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
