HomeMy WebLinkAbout1990-224 CCR Member Jerry Pedlar introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 90 -224 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING PROPOSAL TO INSTALL NEW WATER SERVICE LINE TO WILLOW LANE PARK, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1990 -23 WHEREAS, the 1990 budget for Parks Maintenance includes an appropriation of $10,125 for the improvement of the water service to Willow Lane Park; and WHEREAS, the City has received the following proposals for the specified work: Contractor Amount of Proposal Inland Utility Construction Co. 8,781.30 Hank Weidema 9,867.75 Glendale Contracting $11,371.50 CCS Contracting $15,262.00 Thomas Sons Construction $22,210.00 WHEREAS, it appears that Inland Utility Construction Co. Inc. of St. Michael, Minnesota has submitted the lowest proposal. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that: 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Inland Utility Construction Co. Inc. for the amount of $8,781.30 for the completion of the work. 2. All costs associated with Improvement Project No. 1990 -23, Willow Lane Park Water Main Replacement shall be charged to the Park Maintenance Division 69 of the General Fund, Object #4530. October 15, 1990 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Todd Paulson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Todd Paulson, Jerry Pedlar and Philip Cohen; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
