HomeMy WebLinkAbout1990-231 CCR Member Celia Scott introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 90-231 RESOLUTION EXPRESSING RECOGNITION OF AND APPRECIATION FOR THE DEDICATED PUBLIC SERVICE OF THOMAS SLUPSKE WHEREAS, Thomas Slupske served on the Brooklyn Center Earle Brown Days Committee from 1985 to 1990; and WHEREAS, Thomas Slupske served as Earle Brown Days Chairperson for the 1985 and 1986 festivals; and WHEREAS, his public service and civic effort for the betterment of the community merit the gratitude of the citizens of Brooklyn Center; and WHEREAS, his leadership and expertise has been greatly appreciated by the Brooklyn Center Earle Brown Days Committee; and WHEREAS, it is highly appropriate that his service to the community should be recognized and expressed. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the dedicated public service of Thomas Slupske is hereby recognized and appreciated by the City of Brooklyn Center. October 29, 1990 Date Mayor ATTEST: 51 0 J� Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Todd Paulson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Celia Scott, Todd Paulson, Jerry Pedlar, and Philip Cohen; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
