HomeMy WebLinkAbout1990-243 CCR Member Jerry Pedlar introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 90-243 RESOLUTION APPROVING A CLASS B CHARITABLE GAMBLING LICENSE FOR BROOKLYN CENTER LIONS, EARLE BROWN BOWL LOCATION WHEREAS, the Brooklyn Center Lions Club has operated a charitable gambling license to sell pull -tabs at the Earle Brown Bowl located in Brooklyn Center for several years; and WHEREAS, the current license for this location expires the end of January 1991; and WHEREAS, the Brooklyn Center Lions Club has made application to renew this license; and WHEREAS, the operation of the charitable gambling license at this location is a well -run operation causing little problems for the City. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the City of Brooklyn Center that this application for a Class B gambling license is approved. November 19, 1990 Date May r ATTEST: L I L a P Deputy Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Celia Scott and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Celia Scott, Todd Paulson, Jerry Pedlar, and Philip Cohen; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
