HomeMy WebLinkAbout1990-182 CCR1 1 1 Member Celia Scott resolution and moved its adoption: item: ATTEST: RESOLUTION NO. 90 -182 introduced the following RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 1990 GENERAL FUND BUDGET TO REAPPROPRIATE FUNDS FOR LOBBYING FOR GROUP HOME SITING PROCESS WHEREAS, Section 7.09 of the City Charter of the City of Brooklyn Center does provide for a contingency appropriation as a part of the General Fund Budget, and further provides that the contingency appropriation may be transferred to any other appropriation by the City Council; and WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized Boland and Associates to lobby on behalf of the City of Brooklyn Center regarding the group home siting process; and WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized the expenditure of $5,000 for this purpose. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center to amend the 1990 General Fund Budget as follows: Increase the Appropriations for the following line item: City Council Professional Services Account No. 4310 $5,000. Decrease the Appropriations for the following line Unallocated Expenses Contingency Account lo. 4995 September 10, 1990 Date Clerk ,000. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Jerry Pedlar and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Celia Scott, Todd Paulson, Jerry Pedlar, and Philip Cohen; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
