HomeMy WebLinkAbout1990-050 CCR1 1 1 Member Celia Scott resolution and moved its adoption: introduced the following RESOLUTION NO. 90 -50 RESOLUTION DCLARING EARLE BROWN DAYS AS A CIVIC EVENT FROM JUNE 14 THROUGH JUNE 24 WHEREAS, the purpose of Earle Brown Days is to promote the City of Brooklyn Center, its people, and amenities; and WHEREAS, residents, the City community civic groups, and businesses participate in the annual civic celebration to demonstrate the vitality of the City of Brooklyn Center; and WHEREAS, in order for Earle Brown Days, Inc. to schedule certain events requiring City issued administrative land use permits, it is necessary for Earle Brown Days to be declared a civic event. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that Earle Brown Days are declared a civic event from June 14, 1990, through June 24, 1990. March 12, 1990 Date ATTEST: XI �1 Clerk Maypf2 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Todd Paulson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Celia Scott, Todd Paulson, Jerry Pedlar, and Philip Cohen; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
