moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION AMENDING 1990 PAY PLAN TO ADD ONE ADDITIONAL MAINTENANCE
WORKER IN THE PUBLIC UTILITIES DIVISION
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the City Council that it is necesary to
increase the authorized staff for the Public Utilities Division by one full -time
Maintenance Worker in order to maintain an appropriate level of service for the
City's public utility users.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of
Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that Schedule A of the 1990 Pay Plan be amended to
increase the authorized number of Maintenance II positions from six (6) to seven
(7).

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
member Celia Scott and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Celia Scott, Todd Paulson,
Jerry Pedlar, and Philip Cohen;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
