HomeMy WebLinkAbout1990-097 CCRMember Celia Scott introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS 1988 -25, 1989 -26, 1990 -11 AND 1990 -12, FREEWAY BOULEVARD /65TH AVENUE /66TH AVENUE BETWEEN SHINGLE CREEK AND T.H. 252; AND IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 1989 -27, HUMBOLDT AVENUE NORTH BETWEEN 65TH AND 69TH AVENUES NORTH WHEREAS, Resolution No. 90 -55, adopted on the 12th day of March, 1990, set a date for a public hearing regarding the proposed reconstruction of Freeway Boulevard /65th Avenue /66th Avenue between Shingle Creek and T.H. 252, and for Humboldt Avenue North between 65th and 69th Avenues North; and WHEREAS, ten days' published notice of the hearing was given and the hearing thereon was held on the 9th day of April, 1990, at which all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon; and WHEREAS, because of a defect in the notice of hearing for said hearing, the Council reconvened the hearing on May 7, 1990 pursuant to Resolution No. 90 -81 adopted by the Council on April 23; and WHEREAS, ten days' published notice of the hearing was given and the reconvened hearing thereon was held on the 7th day of May, 1990, at which all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon; and WHEREAS, the Council has considered all comments, testimony and evidence offered at both the April 9 hearing and the May 7 hearing; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that: 1. Such improvements are hereby ordered as proposed in Council Resolution No. 90 -55. May 7, 1990 Date ATTEST: i 9j/, g Clerk RESOLUTION NO. 90 -97 Mayf/ The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Jerry Pedlar and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Celia Scott, Todd Paulson, Jerry Pedlar, and Philip Cohen; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
