HomeMy WebLinkAbout1990-099 CCR1 1 Member Celia Scott resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 90 -99 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CITY OF BROOKLYN CENTER SAFETY MANUAL WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center believes that every employee is entitled to work under the safest conditions possible; and WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to make every reasonable effort to promote accident prevention, fire prevention, fire protection, and health preservation; and WHEREAS, the City Council intends to maintain a public liability and employees' safety and loss control program that will conform with the best practices of municipalities of our type. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Brooklyn Center that a City of Brooklyn Center safety manual is hereby established and approved. introduced the following May 21, 1990 Date M ATTEST: J (ePAIOL, Deputy City Clerk U The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Jerry Pedlar and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Celia Scott, Todd Paulson, Jerry Pedlar, and Philip Cohen; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
