HomeMy WebLinkAbout1989-122 CCR1 1 Member Celia Scott resolution and moved its adoption: ATTEST: June 26, 1989 Date RESOLUTION NO. 89 -122 introduced the following RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE DOMESTIC ASSAULT INTERVENTION PROJECT BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that the Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with the Minnesota Program Development, Inc. Domestic Assault Intervention Project for the general purpose of intervening in domestic assault cases by providing information and advocacy for victims of domestic assault and by advocating appropriate responses to assailants within the criminal justice and mental health systems. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Jerry Pedlar and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Celia Scott, Todd Paulson, Jerry Pedlar, and Philip Cohen; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
