resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 89 -182
introduced the following
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING QUOTE AND AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE
OF ONE (11 DUMP BODY
WHEREAS, on March 27, 1989, approval was given for the
purchase of a dump body; and
WHEREAS, two quotes have been received as follows:
COMPANY QUOTE
LaHass $8,695
ABM Equipment Supply $9,895
WHEREAS, the cost of this item will be charged to the
Public Utility fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Brooklyn Center that the purchase of one (1) dump
body from LaHass in the amount of $8,695 is hereby approved.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member Jerry Pedlar and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist,
Todd Paulson, Jerry Pedlar, and Philip Cohen;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
