HomeMy WebLinkAbout1989-189 CCR1 Member Philip Cohen introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 89 -189 RESOLUTION EXPRESSING RECOGNITION OF AND APPRECIATION FOR THE DEDICATED PUBLIC SERVICE OF MR. GENE LHOTKA WHEREAS, Gene Lhotka served as a member of the Brooklyn Center City Council from 1977 through April 30, 1989; and WHEREAS, his service to the City and his consistent leadership have contributed substantially to the sound progress and development of the City; and WHEREAS, his public service and civic effort for the betterment of the community merit the gratitude of the citizens of Brooklyn Center; and WHEREAS, it is highly appropriate that his services and achievements for the betterment of the City should be permanently recognized and expressed. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that Gene Lhotka is hereby presented with this resolution as a visible and lasting expression of gratitude for the leadership and service he has rendered and the benefits he has secured to the citizens of the City of Brooklyn Center.
