HomeMy WebLinkAbout1989-193 CCR1 1 1 Member Celia Scott resolution and moved its adoption: ATTEST: RESOLUTION NO. 89 -193 introduced the following RESOLUTION ACCEPTING QUOTE AND AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) AIR BOTTLE SYSTEM FOR THE FIRE DEPARTMENT WHEREAS, an appropriation was approved in the 1989 budget for the purchase of one (1) air bottle system; and WHEREAS, $7,000 was originally appropriated for the system; and purchase of the air bottle WHEREAS, two (2) Combany Compress Air Twin City Oxygen quotations were received as follows: Quote 8,917.00 10,372.32 WHEREAS, there are sufficient funds within the budget to cover the difference between actual cost and the approved appropriation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the purchase of one (1) air bottle system from Compress Air in the amount of $8,917 is hereby approved. October 9, 1989 Date Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Todd Paulson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Celia Scott, Todd Paulson, and Philip Cohen; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
