HomeMy WebLinkAbout1989-206 CCR1 Member Celia Scott introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: follows: October 23. 1989 Date A T T E S T Clerk RESOLUTION NO. 89 -206 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF TELECOM NORTH FOR CABLING FOR A PHONE SYSTEM FOR THE CITY HALL /CIVIC CENTER COMPLEX AND THE EARLE BROWN HERITAGE CENTER WHEREAS, the City of Brooklyn Center is replacing the present phone system in the City Hall and adding a new system to the Earle Brown Heritage Center; and WHEREAS, the City received bids for the cable system as Company Bid Telecom North $15,014.00 P T Communication Professionals 21,297.76 U.S. West 30,948.64 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the bid of Telecom North in the amount of $15,014.00 be accepted and authorize the Mayor and City Manager to enter into an agreement with Telecom North; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the cost of this project shall be allocated as follows: Capital Projects Fund Economic Development Authority of Brooklyn Center $5,932 $9,082 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Philip Cohen, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Celia Scott, Todd Paulson, and Philip Cohen; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
