HomeMy WebLinkAbout1989-036 CCR1 1 Member Jerry Pedlar introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 89 -36 RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 1989 GENERAL FUND BUDGET WHEREAS, Section 7.09 of the City Charter of the City of Brooklyn Center does provide for a contingency appropriation as a part of the General Fund Budget, and further provides that the contingency appropriation may be transferred to any other appropriation by the City Council; and WHEREAS, the City Council appropriated funds in the 1989 Emergency Preparedness Budget for the purchase of a camera and support equipment to make identification cards in the amount of $1,755 and supplies for said camera in the amount of $480; and WHEREAS, the equipment budgeted for is not now available and better quality equipment is available at a cost of $2,895 and the vendor has offfered to provide the first years supplies at no cost: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center to amend the 1989 General Fund Budget as follows: Increase the Appropriations for the following line items: Emergency Preparedness No. 34, Other Equipment No. 4552 1,140.00 Decrease the Appropriations for the following line items: mpftimpapalft Emergency Preparedness No. 34, Operating Supplies No. 4220 480.00 Unallocated Expenses No. 80, Contingency Account No. 4995 660.00 Date Mayor Pro tem February 27, 1989 ATTEST: 6X i 1.12 Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Todd Paulson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Celia Scott, Todd Paulson, and Jerry Pedlar; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
