HomeMy WebLinkAbout1989-043 CCR1 1 1 Member Gene Lhotka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 89 -43 RESOLTUION ESTABLISHING PROJECT NO. 1989 -04, INSTALLATION OF RADIANT HEATING SYSTEM FOR CITY GARAGE, AND APPROVING CONTRACT FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES RELATING THERETO WHEREAS, the 1989 budget for Division 19 Government Buildings Division of the General Fund provides an appropriation of $25,500 for the installation of a radiant heating system for the City Garage; and WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has obtained a proposal from the Oftedahl, Locke, Broadston and Associates, Inc., consulting engineers, to provide professional engineering services required for the proposed improvement. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that: 1. The proposed project will be designated as: Improvement Project No. 1989 -04 Installation of Radiant Heating System for City Garage 2. The proposal of Oftedahl, Locke, Broadtson and Associates, Inc. to provide needed engineering services at a cost not to exceed $2500 is hereby accepted. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute said agreement on behalf of the City of Brooklyn Center. 3. All costs relating to said project shall be charged to Division 19, Government Buildings, of the General Fund. March 13, 1989 Date Mayor ATTEST: 1' l l L--' Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Jerry Pedlar and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Gene Lhotka, Celia Scott, Todd Paulson, and Jerry Pedlar; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
