RESOLUTION EXPRESSING RECOGNITION OF AND APPRECIATION
FOR THE DEDICATED PUBLIC SERVICE OF RON TURNER
WHEREAS, Ron Turner served on the Brooklyn Center
Housing Commission from January 24, 1977, to December 31, 1988;
and
WHEREAS, his public service and civic effort for the
betterment of the community merit the gratitude of the citizens
of Brooklyn Center; and
WHEREAS, it is highly appropriate that his service to
the community should be recognized and expressed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Brooklyn Center that the dedicated public service of
Ron Turner is hereby recognized and appreciated by the City of
Brooklyn Center.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member Gene Lhotka and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist,
Gene Lhotka, Celia Scott, Todd Paulson, and Jerry Pedlar;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
