HomeMy WebLinkAbout1989-017 CCR1 1 1 Member Celia Scott introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 89 17 RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF 1 -94 WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF BROOKLYN CENTER WHEREAS the Commissioner of Transportation for the State of Minnesota has prepared: plans, special provisions, and specifications for the improvement of Trunk Highway No. 392, renumbered as Trunk Highway No. 94, within the corporate limits of the City of Brooklyn Center, from the West Corp. limits to 1000 ft W of TH 252; and seeks the approval thereof; NOW, THEN, BE IT RESOLVED that said plans and special provisions for the improvement of said Trunk Highway within said corporate limits of the City, be and hereby are approved including the elevations and grades as shown and consent is hereby given to any and all changes in grade occasioned by said construction. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City does hereby agree to require the parking of all vehicles, if such parking is permitted within the corporate limits of said City, on said Trunk Highway, to be parallel with the curb adjacent to the highway, and at least 20 feet from any crosswalks on all public streets intersecting said trunk highway. January 23, 1989 Date The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Gene Lhotka and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Gene Lhotka, Celia Scott, Todd Paulson, and Jerry Pedlar; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
