HomeMy WebLinkAbout1989-018 CCR1 1 Member Gene Lhotka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 89 -18 RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING FUNDS AND AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF COMPUTER EQUIPMENT BY THE PUBLIC UTILITIES FUND WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds and determines that, in order to provide the needed level of service relating to utility billing and general data processing operations, it is necessary to purchase additional computer equipment for use by City staff; and WHEREAS, the utility billing staff has been using a computer terminal which has failed and has been determined to not be economical to repair due to its age; and WHEREAS, it would improve the productivity and efficiency of the staff if both utility billers had a computer terminal; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by it City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that the sum of $2,800.00 is hereby appropriated from the Public Utility Fund for the purchase of two computer terminals, two printers, and two workstations.
