HomeMy WebLinkAbout1988-071 CCR1 1 1 Member Celia Scott resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 88 -71 introduced the following RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL OF AN APPLICATION FOR GRANT FUNDING TO THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SERVICE. ENERGY DIVISION WHEREAS, the City of Brooklyn Center is a sponsoring unit of government for the project titled "The Conservation Improvement Program," also known as the House Doctor and Home Energy Checkup Programs; and WHEREAS, Brooklyn Center, Crystal, and Golden Valley are coordinating their grant application efforts for funding these programs; and WHEREAS, the City of Brooklyn Center has agreed to serve as the lead unit of government in making the grant application on behalf of itself, Crystal, and Golden Valley, in accordance with Resolution 88 -67. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the City of Brooklyn Center is hereby authorized to submit an application for a community energy council grant to the Minnesota Department of Public Service, Energy Division, on behalf of the cities of Brooklyn Center, Crystal, and Golden Valley. ATTEST: May 23, 1988 Date t-, 1 rAA U2 De ty City Merk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Bill Hawes and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Celia Scott, Bill Hawes, and Rich Theis; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
