HomeMy WebLinkAbout1988-081 CCRMember Celia Scott introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF REPLACEMENT ELECTRONIC CASH REGISTERS FOR THE MUNICIPAL LIQUOR STORES WHEREAS, The City of Brooklyn Center is authorized to participate in LOGIS (Local Government Informations Systems) through a joint powers agreement; and WHEREAS, on Friday, May 13, 1988, at 9:00 a.m., the LOGIS Executive Board accepted the bid of Retail Data Systems to provide point -of -sale terminal electronic cash registers to LOGIS municipal off -sale liquor stores; and WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended the replacement of the electronic cash registers currently being used in the City's three off -sale stores. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Brooklyn Center to purchase from Retail Data Systems the following equipment which was included in the bid as accepted: BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be authorized to purchase said registers from the Liquor Stores' Fund.
