its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 88 -82
RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR AND CITY MANAGER
TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT FOR RISK MANAGEMENT CONSULTING SERVICES
WHEREAS, American Risk Services, Inc. has presented a proposal to the
City of Brooklyn Center to provide risk management consulting services for a one
year period beginning June 1, 1988 at an annual cost of $4,800; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended the acceptance of the
proposal because it could result in increased risk protection and insurance cost
savings to the City of Brooklyn Center.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Brooklyn Center to authorize the Mayor and City Manager to enter into an agreement
with American Risk Services, Inc. to provide risk management consulting services
for the City of Brooklyn Center for a one year period beginning June 1, 1988 at an
annual cost of $4,800.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the cost be paid from the Unallocated
Departmental Expenses General Liability Insurance Account.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
member Celia Scott and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Celia Scott, and Bill Hawes;
and the following voted against the same: Rich Theis,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
