HomeMy WebLinkAbout1988-123 CCR1 1 Member Celia Scott introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENTS FOR DISEASED SHADE TREE REMOVAL COSTS, DELINQUENT PUBLIC UTILITY ACCOUNTS, AND DELINQUENT WEED REMOVAL ACCOUNTS BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that: 1. A hearing shall be held on the 6th day of September, 1988 in the City Hall at 8 P.M. to pass upon the proposed assessments for the following charges: 2. The City Clerk with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith prepare assessment rolls for the above charges, and shall keep them on file and open to inspection by any interested persons. 3. The City Clerk is directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing. 4. The City Clerk shall cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in such assessment rolls not less than two weeks prior to the hearing. July 25, 1988 Date ATTEST: -�L_ a-> Clerk RESOLUTION NO. 88 123 Diseased Shade Tree Removal Costs Delinquent Public Utility Account Delinquent Weed Destruction Account The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Bill Hawes and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Gene LHotka, Celia Scott, and Bill Hawes; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
