HomeMy WebLinkAbout1988-010 CCR1 Member Gene Lhotka resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 88 -10 introduced the following RESOLUTION EXPRESSING RECOGNITION OF AND APPRECIATION FOR THE DEDICATED PUBLIC SERVICE OF BARRY WALLERSTEDT WHEREAS, Barry Wallerstedt served on the Brooklyn Center Human Rights and Resources Commission from January 13, 1986, to December 31, 1987; and WHEREAS, he actively participated in the preparation of reports from the commission to the City Council on Year 2000 Report assignments; and WHEREAS, his public service and civic effort for the betterment of the community merit the gratitude of the citizens of Brooklyn Center; and WHEREAS, it is highly appropriate that his service to the community should be recognized and expressed. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the dedicated public service of Barry Wallerstedt is hereby recognized and appreciated by the City of Brooklyn Center. January 11, 1988 Date ATTEST: �t l Clerk taX,07 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Bill Hawes and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Gene Lhotka, Celia Scott, Bill Hawes, and Rich Theis; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
