HomeMy WebLinkAbout1987-123 CCR1 1 Member Rich Theis resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 87 -123 introduced the following RESOLUTION EXPRESSING RECOGNITION OF AND APPRECIATION FOR THE DEDICATED PUBLIC SERVICE OF TOM SLUPSKE WHEREAS, Tom Slupske served as a member of the Brooklyn Center Human Rights Commission from January, 1986, through April, 1987; and WHEREAS, his devotion to the tasks and responsibilities of the Commission contributed substantially to the sound progress and development of the City; and WHEREAS, his public service and civic betterment of the community merit the gratitude of Brooklyn Center; and WHEREAS, it is highly appropriate that the community should be recognized and expressed. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the dedicated public service of Tom Slupske as a member of the Human Rights Commission is hereby recognized and appreciated by the City of Brooklyn Center.
