HomeMy WebLinkAbout1987-145 CCRMember Celia Scott introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Transportation for the State of Minnesota has prepared plans, special provisions, and specifications for the improvement of Trunk Highway No. 393, renumbered as Trunk Highway No. 694, within the corporate limits of the City of Brooklyn Center, from the West River Road to East Corporate limits; and seeks the approval thereof; and WHEREAS, any grading or filling required by this project is deemed to be consistent with the requirements of the Interim Development Regulations for the Mississippi River Corridor Critical Area administered by the Minnesota Environmental Quality Board: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that said plans and special provisions for the improvement of said Trunk Highway within said corporate limits of the City, be and hereby are approved including the elevations and grades as shown and consent is hereby given to any and all changes in grade occasioned by said construction. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City does hereby agree to require the parking of all vehicles, if such parking is permitted within the corporate limits of said City, on said Trunk Highway, to be parallel with the curb adjacent to the highway, and at least 20 feet from any crosswalks on all public streets intersecting said trunk highway.
