HomeMy WebLinkAbout1987-050 CCR1 Member Bill Hawes introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 87 -50 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE BROOKLYN CENTER VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT TO CONDUCT FIRE DRILLS AT 1601 73RD AVENUE NORTH WHEREAS, William Shimek, the owner of 1601 73rd Avenue North has given permission to the Brooklyn Center Volunteer Fire Department to use the home at 1601 73rd Avenue North as a fire drill site; and WHEREAS, it has been determined that this type of training and drill is very beneficial to the Fire Department. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the Brooklyn Center Volunteer Fire Department is hereby authorized to conduct fire drills at 1601 73rd Avenue North. ATTEST: March 9. 1987 Date The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Gene Lhotka and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Gene Lhotka, Celia Scott, Bill Hawes, and Rich Theis; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
