HomeMy WebLinkAbout1987-077 CCR1 1 1 Member Rich Theis resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 87 -77 introduced the following RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 1987 GENERAL FUND BUDGET WHEREAS, Section 7.09 of the City Charter of the City of Brooklyn Center does provide for a contingency appropriation as a part of the General Fund Budget, and further provides that the contingency appropriation may be transferred to any other appropriation by the City Council; and WHEREAS, the actual cost of office furniture exceeds the appropriation in the Unallocated Departmental Expense budget by $2,148.28. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center to amend the 1987 General Fund Budget as follows: Increase the Appropriations for the following line items: Unallocated Departmental Expense #80, Office Furniture #4551 ATTEST: April 6, 1987 Date Clerk $2,148.28 Decrease the Appropriations for the following line items: Unallocated Departmental Expense #80, Contingency #4995 $2,148.28 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Bill Hawes and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Celia Scott, Bill Hawes, and Rich Theis; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
