HomeMy WebLinkAbout1986-157 CCR1 1 1 Member Bill Hawes resolution and moved its adoption: September 22, 1986 Date ATTEST: Clerk RESOLUTION NO. 86 -157 introduced the following RESOLUTION EXPRESSING RECOGNITION OF AND APPRECIATION FOR THE DEDICATED PUBLIC SERVICE OF ROSEMARY KIESELHORST, WHEREAS, Rosemary Kieselhorst served as a member of the Brooklyn Center Human Rights Commission from January, 1984 through September, 1986; and WHEREAS, her devotion to the tasks and responsibilities of the Commission contributed to the sound progress and development of the City; and WHEREAS, her public service and civic effort for the betterment of the community merit the gratitude of the citizens of Brooklyn Center; and WHEREAS, it is highly appropriate that her service to the community should be recognized and expressed. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the dedicated public service of Rosemary Kieselhorst as a member of the Human Rights Commission is hereby recognized and appreciated by the City of Brookl Center. May The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Gene Lhotka and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Gene Lhotka, Celia Scott, Bill Hawes, and Rich Theis; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
