RESOLUTION NO.
introduced the following
86 -77
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF OUTSIDE SIGNS FOR
THE BOULEVARD AND THE NORTHBROOK LIOUOR STORES,
WHEREAS, the lease extension agreement for the
Northbrook Liquor Store requires the City of Brooklyn Center to
install an outdoor lighted sign on the building; and
WHEREAS, the signing at the Boulevard Liquor Store can
be improved upon to provide greater attraction to the store; and
WHEREAS, quotations received for this project are as
follows:
Sign Service, Inc. $4,040.00
Leroy Signs, Inc. 4,145.00
Kaufman Outdoor Advertising Co 4,700.00
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council that the City
of Brooklyn Center is authorized to purchase outside signs for
the Boulevard and Northbrook Liquor Stores from Sign Service,
Inc. for $4,040, with monies to be expended from the Liquor
Stores Fund.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member Bill Hawes and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist,
Gene Lhotka, Celia Scott, Bill Hawes, and Rich Theis;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
