RESOLUTION NO. 86 -87
RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF TRUNK HIGHWAY 252 IN BROOKLYN CENTER, STATE
PROJECT 2748 -35 (252 =110)
WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Transportation for the State of Minnesota
has prepared plans, special provisions, and specifications for the improvement
of Trunk Highway No. 110, renumbered as Trunk Highway No. 252, within the
corporate limits of the City of Brooklyn Center, from T.H. 694 to North
Corporate limits and seeks the approval thereof; and
WHEREAS, any grading or filling required by this project is deemed to
be consistent with the requirements of the Interim Development Regulations for
the Mississippi River Corridor Critical Area administered by the Minnesota
Environmental Quality Board:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of
Brooklyn Center that said plans and special provisions for the improvement of
said Trunk Highway within said corporate limits of the City, be and hereby are
approved including the elevations and grades as shown and consent is hereby
given to any and all changes in grade occasioned by said construction.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City does hereby agree to require the
parking of all vehicles, if such parking is permitted within the corporate
limits of said City, on said Trunk Highway, to be parallel with the curb
adjacent to the highway, and at least 20 feet from any crosswalks on all public
streets intersecting said trunk highway.

The'motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
member Bill Hawes and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Gene Lhotka, Celia Scott, Bill Hawes,
and Rich Theis;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
