RESOLUTION NO. 85 -253
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF $10,000 FROM THE CONTINGENCY
FUND TO POLICE DEPARTMENT CAPITAL OUTLAY
WHEREAS, on November 29, 1985 the Police Department canine car was
involved in an accident; and
WHEREAS, the car was declared to be totally inoperative and the insurance
company settlement was $2,100; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined to be in the best interest of the City to
rotate the Police Chief's car into use as a canine car and purchase a used car for
the Police Chief's use:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn
Center to transfer $10,000 from the Contingency Fund to the Police Department
Capital Outlay for purchase of a leased car for the Police Chief.

ATTEST:
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded
by member Bill Hawes and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Gene Lhotka, Celia Scott, Bill Hawes,
and Rich Theis;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
