HomeMy WebLinkAbout1985-055 CCRMember Rich Theis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 85 -55 RESOLUTION APPROVING PROPOSED PROGRAM FOR YEAR XI URBAN HENNEPIN COUNTY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS AND AUTHORIZING ITS SUBMITTAL WHEREAS, the City of Brooklyn Center, through execution of a Joint Cooperation Agreement with Hennepin County, is a cooperating unit in the Urban County Community Development Block Grant Program; and WHEREAS, the City of Brooklyn Center has developed a proposal for the use of Urban Hennepin County CDBG funds made available to it; and WHEREAS, the following proposed use of Community Development Block Grant funds was developed consistent with program rules. 1. Earle Brown Farm Acquisition $160,000 2. Home Rehabilitation Grant Program 80,240 Total $240,240 BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Brooklyn Center approves the proposed use of Year XI Urban Hennepin County Community Development Block Grant funds and authorizes submittal of the proposal to Hennepin County for consideration by the Citizen Advisory Committee and for inclusion in the Year XI Urban Hennepin County Community Development Block Grant Statement of Objectives and Projected Use of Funds. M��� ATTEST: The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Bill Hawes and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Celia Scott, Bill Hawes, and Rich Theis; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
