HomeMy WebLinkAbout1985-082 CCRMember Bill Hawes introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 85 -82 RESOLUTION DECLARING JUNE 26 THROUGH 30 AS BROOKLYN CENTER EARLE BROWN DAYS WHEREAS, the purpose of the City of Brooklyn Center Earle Brown Days is to promote the City of Brooklyn Center, its people and amenities; and WHEREAS, the Brooklyn Center Jaycees, Chamber of Commerce, Lions Club, and other community groups participate in the annual civic celebration to demonstrate the vitality of the City of Brooklyn Center. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center to declare June 26 through June 30, 1985 as the dates for Brooklyn Center Earle Brown Days. May 20, 1985 Date ATTEST: 4 `A Clerk May6r" The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Rich Theis and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Gene Lhotka, Celia Scott, Bill Hawes, and Rich Theis; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
