adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 85 -119
RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING GIFT
FROM THE BROOKLYN CENTER JAYCEE WOMEN
WHEREAS, the BROOKLYN CENTER JAYCEE WOMEN have presented the City a gift of
fifty dollars ($50) and has designated that it be used for the Children's
Puppet Wagon Program; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is appreciative of the gift and commends the
Brooklyn Center Jaycee Women for its civic efforts:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn
Center to acknowledge the gift with gratitude; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the gift of $50.00 be appropriated to the
General Fund Children's Recreation Programs Budget to be used for the Puppet
Wagon Program.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
member Rich Theis and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Gene Lhotka, Celia Scott, Bill Hawes, and Rich Theis;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
