RESOLUTION N0. 84 -144
RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE A TAX LEVY FOR 1985 BUDGET APPROPRIATIONS
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center:
1. There is hereby approved for expenditures from general taxes, the
following sums for the purpose indicated:
CITY OPERATION AND ADMINISTRATION 2
EMPLOYEE'S RETIREMENT 365,968
3,019,801
The foregoing does not include levies already certified to the County
Auditor for the payment of outstanding loans, which levies for the year 1985 are
as follows:

whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

The motion of the adoption of the foregoing resolution was
Gene Lhotka and upon vote being taken thereon, the
thereof: Dean Nyquist, Gene Lhotka, Celia Scott, Bill Hawes
and the following voted against the same: none;

2. There is hereby levied upon all taxable property lying within the City
of Brooklyn Center, in addition to all levies heretofore certified to the County
Auditor as indicated in paragraph one hereof, the sum of $3,019,801, and the City
Clerk shall cause a copy of this resolution to be certified to the County Auditor
so that said sum shall be spread upon the tax rolls and will be payable in the year
1985.
