RESOLUTION NO. 84 -169
RESOLUTION EXPRESSING RECOGNITION OF AND APPRECIATION FOR THE DEDICATED
PUBLIC SERVICE OF GAIL J. PLEWACKI

WHEREAS, Gail J. Plewacki has demonstrated repeated acts of bravery,
heroism, and selflessness in the line of duty as a police officer for the City of
Minneapolis; and
WHEREAS, Gail J. Plewacki is a resident of Brooklyn Center residing at 6725
Willow Lane; and
WHEREAS, her outstanding achievements as a police officer demonstrate an
exceptional dedication to her profession and the community; and
WHEREAS, her public service for the betterment of the community merit the
gratitude of the citizens of Brooklyn Center; and
WHEREAS, it is highly appropriate that her courage in the line of duty and
service to the community should be recognized and expressed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Brooklyn
Center, that the dedicated public service of Gail J. Plewacki is recognized and
appreciated by the City of Brooklyn Center.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
member Rich Theis, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in
favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Gene Lhotka, Celia Scott, Eill Hawes, and Rich
Theis; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said
resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
