HomeMy WebLinkAbout1984-100 CCRMember Gene Lhotka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 84 -100 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING QUOTATIONS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE OF A 2,000 GALLON WATER TANK WHEREAS, the purchase of a 2,000 gallon water tank was approved in the 1984 budget; and WHEREAS, written quotations for the purchase of a 2,000 gallon water tank were accepted until June 15, 1984; and WHEREAS, the quotations were is follows: Bidder Quotation Ruffridge Johnson Equipment $5,975.00 Determar Welding Lock Service 7,800.00 Arrow Tank and Engineering 9,090.00 WHEREAS, the City's purchasing policy requires the City Council to award purchases between $5,000 and $14,999, upon recommendation of the City Manager. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center the quotation of Ruffridge- Johnson in the amount of $5,975 for a 2,000 gallon water tank be accepted. June 25, 1984 Date Mayor re a ATTEST: C erk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Celia Scott and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Gene Lhotka, Celia Scott, and Bill Hawes; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
