HomeMy WebLinkAbout1984-109 CCRMember Gene Lhotka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 84 -109 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND APPROVING CONTRACT 1984 -H (SEAL COATING PROJECT NO. 1984 -13) WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for Improvement Project No. 1984 -13, bids were received, opened, and tabulated by the City Clerk and City Engineer, on the 19th day of July, 1984. Said bids were as follows: Bidder Bid Amount Allied Blacktop Company $52,736.19* Buffalo Bituminous, Inc. $57,198.30 Denotes Engineer's Correction Upon Extension WHEREAS, it appears that Allied Blacktop, Company of Maple Grove, Minnesota, is the lowest responsible bidder. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota: 1. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached contract in the amount of $52,736.19 with Allied Blacktop Company of Maple Grove, Minnesota in the name of the City of Brooklyn Center for Improvement Project No. 1984 -13 according to the plans and specifications therefor approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that: 1. The estimated total cost of Improvement Project No. 1984 -13 is hereby amended according to the following schedule: As Approved Contract Engineering (5 Administration (1 TOTAL 52,200.00 4,700.00 520.00 57,420.00 As Bid 52,736.19 2,636.81 527.36 55,900.36 2. The financing of and accounting for Improvement Project No. 1984 -13 shall be from Division 42 of the General Fund Budget. July 23, 1984 Date ATTEST: Clerk Mayor/",z RESOLUTION NO. 84 -109 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Bill Hawes and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Gene Lhotka, Bill Hawes, and Rich Theis; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
