HomeMy WebLinkAbout1984-125 CCRMember Bill Hawes introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 84 -125 RESOLUTION APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS FOR FURNISHING AND DELIVERY OF BLEACHERS AND PRESS BOX AND DIRECTING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota as follows: 1. The specifications for furnishing and delivery of bleachers as prepared by the City's Parks and Recreation Director are hereby approved and ordered filed with the City Clerk. 2. The Clerk shall advertise for bids for such equipment by publication at least once in the official newspaper, the date of first publication not less than ten days prior to the date of receipt of bids. Said notice shall state that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed and accompanied by a cash deposit, bid bond, cashier's check or certified check payable to the City Clerk in an amount of not less than five per cent (5%) of the accompanying bid. 3. Bid date is set for Thursday, September 13, 1984, at 11 :00 a.m. r r, ATTEST: b s Clerk The motion for th adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Celia Scott and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favo r thereof: Dean Nyquist, Gene Lhotka, Celia Scott, Bill Hawes, and Rich Theis; and the following against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. 4.
