adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 84 -1
RESOLUTION EXPRESSING RECOGNITION OF AND APPRECIATION FOR THE
DEDICATED PUBLIC SERVICE OF MS. VICKI DENISSFIT
WHEREAS, Ms. Vicki Denissen served as a member of the Brooklyn Center Park
Recreation Commission from April 1980 through December 1983; and
WHEREAS, her devotion to the ta.�ks and responsibilities of the Commission
contributed substantially to the sound progress and development of the City; and
WHEREAS, her public service and civic effort for the betterment of the
Community merit the gratitude of the citizens of Brooklyn Center; and
WHEREAS, it is highly appropriate that her service to the community should
be recognized and expressed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn
Center that the dedicated public service of Ms. Vicki Denissen as a member of the
Park Recreation Commission is hereby recognized and appreciated by the City of
Brooklyn Center.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
member Bill Hawes and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Gene Lhotka, Celia Scott, Bill Hawes,
and Rich Theis;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
