HomeMy WebLinkAbout1984-031 CCR Member Celia Scott introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: III RESOLUTION NO. 84 -31 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR ONE (1) 7 -GANG TRACTOR MOWER WHEREAS, the Director of Parks and Recreation and the Superintendent of Streets have reported that on March 8, 1984 at 11:00 a.m. they opened and tabulated bids received for furnishing one (1) 7 -gang tractor mower and that said bids were as follows: Bid Trade in Total Bid Price Allowance Price Minnesota Toro, Inc. $36,842.94 $5,884.00 $30,958.94 R.L. Gould Company 41,550.00 1,550.00 40,000.00 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the bid of Minnesota Toro, Inc. for the furnishing and delivery of one (1) 7 -gang tractor mower, in accordance with the specifications, is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted. III March 12, 1984 Date Ma' Allor— Am) ATTEST: i 1 (Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Bill Hawes and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Gene Lhotka, Celia Scott, Bill Hawes and Rich Theis; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
