HomeMy WebLinkAbout1982-088 CCR Member Celia Scott introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: III RESOLUTION NO. 82 -88 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING GIFT OF A BLACK SPRUCE TREE FOR THE ARBORETUM FROM THE HOME AND GARDEN CLUB OF BROOKLYN CENTER WHEREAS, the Home and Garden Club of Brooklyn Center has presented the City with a gift of a Black Spruce tree which has been planted in the Arboretum; and WHEREAS, the City Council is appreciative of the gift and commends the Home and Garden Club of Brooklyn Center for their civic efforts. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center to acknowledge the gift with gratitude. May 24, 1982 �'Z_ f Date Mayor ,4-44.1/2. ill ATTEST: 0"/ rk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Bill Hawes and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Gene Lhotka, Celia Scott, Bill Hawes, and Rich Theis; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
