HomeMy WebLinkAbout1982-131 CCR Member Gene Lhotka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: III RESOLUTION NO. 82 -131 RESOLUTION ORDERING ALLEY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1982 -14 i (ALLEY BETWEEN DUPONT AND EMERSON AVENUES FROM 53RD to 54TH AVENUES NORTH) WHEREAS, Resolution No. 82 -113 adopted the 14th day of June, 1982, fixed a date for a Council hearing on the proposed improvement of the alley between Dupont and Emerson Avenues from 53rd to 54th Avenues North by: Alley Improvement Project No. 1982 -14; and WHEREAS, ten days' published notice of the hearing through two weekly publications of the required notice was given, and the hearing was held thereon on the 12th day of July, 1982, at which time all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that it is hereby determined that it is necessary and in the best interests of the City and the owners of property specially benefited thereby, that: 1. The following improvement as proposed in Council Resolution No. III 82 -113 adopted the 14th day of June, 1982, shall be constructed: Alley Improvement Project No. 1982 -14 2. The City Engineer is designated as the engineer for this improvement. The City Engineer shall prepare plans and specifications for this improvement. 3. The estimated cost of the project is $20,240.00. 4. The estimated cost will be financed by: Special Assessments $20,240.00 July 12, 1982 Dato Mayor ter.% i ATTEST: i�d Cler The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Rich Theis and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Gene Lhotka, Celia Scott, Bill Hawes, and Rich Theis; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
