HomeMy WebLinkAbout1981-226 CCR Member Celia Scott introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: III RESOLUTION NO. 81 226 RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSFSSMENT FOR IMPROVEMENT PROTECT NO. 1980 -24 (67TH AVENUE NORTH STORM SEWER EXTENSION) BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BROOKLYN CENTER, Minnesota: 1. A hearing shall be held on the 21st day of December, 1981, in the City Hall at 8:00 P.M. to pass upon the proposed assessments for the following improvement: Storm Sewer Improvement Project No. 1980 -24 at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessments. 2. The City Clerk is directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing, and he shall state in the notice the total cost of the .improvement. III 3. The City Clerk shall cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll not less than two weeks prior to the hearing. c November 23, 1981 F -1--01---...g--. Da Mayor A'1'1'EST: .i Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Tony Kuefler and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, Gene Lhotka, and Celia Scott; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
