RESOLUTION NO. 81 -251
RESOLUTION EXPRESSING RECOGNITION OF AND APPRECIATION FOR THE
DEDICATED PUBLIC SERVICE OF REV. C. ROGER STACY
WHEREAS, Rev. C. Roger Stacy served as a member of the Human Rights
Commission from April, 1980 through November, 1981; and
WHEREAS, his devotion to the tasks and responsibilities of the
Commission contributed substantially to the sound progress and development
of the City; and
WHEREAS, his public service and civic effort for the betterment of
the community merit the gratitude of the citizens of Brooklyn Center.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of
Brooklyn Center that the dedicated public service of Rev. C. Roger Stacy as
a member of the Human Rights Commission and citizen, is recognized and
appreciated by the City of Brooklyn Center.

The motion for t e adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
member Gene Lhotka and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar,
Gene Lhotka, and Celia Scott;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
